In 2018 Amparo Lacruz took part in the “Cello Biennale” in Amsterdam and in the “Viva Celli” Festival in Seul.
From 2015 she has been a guest a guest Professor and performer at the “Peter de Grote” Festival in Groningen (The Netherlands).


She has given masterclasses in well-regarded universities of United States (Boston University, Oberlin College, State University of California and West Chester University), in the Kunitachi College in Tokyo (Japan), Conservatories of Shanghái (China), Morelia (Mexico), Lima (Peru), in the Agustín León Ara course (Costa Rica), the Cervera International Music Festival, the Isaac Albéniz course in Camprodón, and the Forum Musikae.


The duet together with the pianist Andreu Riera has recently launched the CDs “Winter in Flames” (it includes Bridge and Chopin sonatas) and “Brahms & Röntgen”.


As a member of the Kandinsky Trio, she has carried out vast tours in Europe and Asia. An important discography is the witness of its activity: CDs “Schönberg y Barcelona” and “Clara Schumann y Johannes Brahms” (Columna Musica) received excellent reviews.


She is a Professor at the Katarina Gurska Music School and the Liceo Conservatory of Barcelona.






Riera has been awarded at important national competitions such as “Infanta Cristina” (Madrid), “Caja Postal”, “Premio Alonso” in Valencia, and international competitions such as “Frederic Mompou” (Barcelona), “Jacinto Guerrero”, “Mozart Competition”, “Mozarteum” in Salzburg.


He has performed concerts in Spain, Italy, Austria, France, Switzerland, Germany, Finland, United Kingdom, United States, Canada and Australia, standing out his adaptability to play at piano recitals, chamber music concerts, accompanying singers, as a soloist-concertante with orchestra, and even at combined recitals of music and poetry, and theatre and music.


He has collaborated with other soloists such as Ara Malikian, Joan Enric Lluna, Isabel Rey, Josep Francesc Palou, Amparo Lacruz, José Luis García, Kim Scholes, Gerard Claret, Jesse Levine, Vartan Manoogian, Lucero Tena, Lluís Sintes, Maria del Mar Bonet, a. o. and chamber music groups such as Leonor Quartet.


As a soloist he has performed with the “Camerata de Llevant”, “Orquestra de Cambra Ciutat de Manacor”, “Simfònica de Balears “Ciutat de Palma””, “Sinfónica de Sevilla” , “Ciudad de Granada”, “Nacional de Andorra”, “Sinfónica de Màlaga”, “JONDE”, “Orquesta de Cámara “Andrés Segovia””, “Kuopio Symphony”, “New American Chamber Orchestra”, “Colorado Springs Festival Orchestra”, “Montreal Chamber Players”.


He is currently a Professor at the Balearic Islands Conservatory of Music, and a member of the “Real Academia de Bellas Artes” in San Sebastián, Palma de Mallorca.
